Milwaukee’s four-county metro area is home to 1.5 million people, of whom nearly 600,000 live in Milwaukee, where 1522 On the Lake is located. While not a huge metropolis, we have plenty happening. We’re proud of the Milwaukee theater scene, including the Marcus Performing Arts Center, where the Milwaukee Ballet, and the Broadway Series draw major national performances to the city. The Milwaukee Symphony performs at the Bradley Symphony Center a newly renovated space with amazing acoustics, just 2 miles from 1522.
Our professional sports scene includes baseball’s Milwaukee Brewers, basketball’s Milwaukee Bucks, and the Milwaukee Admirals hockey team. Lambeau Field, home of the NFL’s Green Bay Packers, is a two-hour drive from the condo. Like to golf? Brown Deer, the municipal golf course where Tiger Woods made his pro debut in the Greater Milwaukee Open, is 20 minutes from 1522. There’s a par-three closer to home, at Lake Park.
That’s just scratching the surface. If you are interested in something, chances are you can find it near 1522 and if in doubt consult our Concierge.
